I try to stay away from the dirty dozen list in the grocery store. Also, other countries don't have the same limits on what they can use for pesticides so I make it a point to only buy produce grown in the USA. That means I can only buy peaches, strawberries, blueberries when they are in season. I am also learning to be creative. I joined a co-op with a local organic farmer. At least during our growing season my family enjoys loads of fresh, local, organic veggies at a very reasonable price.Tanyanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4033667705619532873.post-74325178323416336342010-05-05T09:40:11.994-04:002010-05-05T09:40:11.994-04:00I am going to try my amazing grass packet in a smo...I am going to try my amazing grass packet in a smoothie later today so I'll get back to you on how it is! I've met Christie from Honoring Health and Brittany from Eating Bird Food before, and I know I've seen you a few times on their blogs :) I may need to plan a Richmond trip sometime.brandihttp://www.branappetit.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4033667705619532873.post-36849706444620390322010-05-05T07:25:43.682-04:002010-05-05T07:25:43.682-04:00You're not quite the last to try Amazing Grass...You're not quite the last to try Amazing Grass - I think I win that one! :P I've been quite interested but haven't felt the need to place an online order for them. Maybe sometime though.<br />And I try to go by the dirty dozen/clean 15 list...but usually don't follow it to a T. :\ If there's not a huge price difference, I'll go organic, but most of the times it's just too expensive.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
